Sérgio Burgi presents an outlook of photography collections maintenance in the contemporary cultural scenery

Sergio Burgi has a degree in Social Sciences from USP and a master's degree in Photographic Conservation from Rochester Institute of Technology (USA). He is a member of the Photographic Preservation Group of the Conservation Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM). Since 1999, he coordinates the photography area of ​​the Moreira Salles Institute, the main institution dedicated to the storage and preservation of photographic collections in Brazil.
